Was it something I said?
Many things I’ve done and not done
which brought me much self-inflicted grief;
like transfers or removals from jobs,
I’ve sat smiling at wrong times,
adulted too young, or the drink I tasted
when I got more than a little bit wasted,
‘twas most often my spectacular speech
that others appreciated the least.
I’m gifted this flippantly waggish tongue
emitting my intently presented voice
speaking a cutting language, exposing
my cantankerously lighthearted snarkastic choice.
Look both ways when words fly like the breath of buzzards.
Mind the gaps and if your gunna do it, go all the way.
That’s my cantankerous old friend.

There’s something to be said for snarkastic (snarktastic?) peeps. When we are the ones dishing it out, of course. It’s funny… I may have been liberated from at least one job thanks to my similar trait… Apparently not all appreciate my particular brand of wit!

Indeed, Dale, There are all sorts of way to carpe diem. Love the concept of being liberated from a job. 🙂

Wow… how crazy is this? Not long after I commented on this post, I got an email from a former co-worker from said company I arranged to get liberated from (by not doing anything my boss asked of me)… asking me if I was interested in helping out where he works now…

Perhaps! However, he is SOL coz ain’t no way I am crossing no stinking bridges or tunnel to go to work every day. It now takes me 5 minutes door, to door. Can’t beat that. 🙂

Right. Only working from home can beat it. 🙂
