Poetry: Rasputin’s Metamorphosis (NaPoWriMo) Day Nineteen

My poetry challenge today is to write an abecedarian poem, which is a poem wherein the word choices flow in alphabetical order.

***

Always begin counting down
effervescently forward going
harmlessly into jaded
Kafka-esque lamenting
Metamorphosis,
narcissistically obsessive palooka
questioning Rasputin’s symbolic
transformational unsuitable vivaciousness,
willie’s x-ing yang’s zipper.

Looking both ways is waking up. Mind the gaps and smell the roses.
