While the wit of the stairs will always whisper, for just that reason, I try to stick the landing of a poem as soon as possible.

Yep Bill, that’s just what I do, poesy with abandon. I think I’ve reworked, maybe ten efforts, maybe out of 500 or so.

I’ve seldom been able to chase a poem. For me, a poem is a moment in time. Narrative pursues, poetry makes the arrest. Which is why I consider myself a word slinger and tend to doggerel.
